Online Creep

When i was 12 years old i downloaded a game called beatstar. It was similar to piano tales but it had pop music. At that time, the app had a feature were you could make online friends and talk with them. One time i got a notification, it said that someone added me and sent me a message. It was a man so called “Mateo” and he was from Mexico. We started chatting and one day he asked for my snapchat, i gave it to him. We started talking almost every night. He told me he was 16 years old so we were both “kids” (he wasnt). We talked for i think 2 weeks and he kept asking me for pictures that i would refuse to give to him. He kept pressuring me about them and told me how much of a perfect girl i am for him. At some point i got so gaslighted that i sent him a photo ( the worst decision of my life). After that he kept complimenting me again and again to the point i got really uncomfortable, so i told my bff at the time. She came to my house and i showed her all of my conversations with him. At that exact moment he sent me a message. He told me that he missed me and showed me a photo of his face. He was a big man with wrinkles, buzz cutted hair. Me and my bff knew that he lied to me about his age, so i confronted him. He kept saying that he is sorry and that we can “work it out”. I told him that i never wanted to have a relationship with him in the first place and that i only wanted a friend to play beastars with. We kept going on and off about this and he sent me a “one time view” photo on snap. I opened it, screamed and threw my phone away to other side of room. Me and my friend were so scared, we never knew that that would happen. He sent me a photo of his parts. I could still remember to this day how it looks, how he placed his hands around it, like trying to arouse me, and how much it disgusted me. While we were trying to calm down he was sending me messages that are very hard to describe ( what he wanted to do with me when he would find me, what he will do to my body, how he will find me etc.). I was too scared to touch my phone so my friend blocked him for me. I deleted all of my social media after that, including beastars. To this day im scared he might find me and to this day i dont like having many social medias, fearing he might recognize me.
